Our world is changing quickly and we must challenge ourselves with new thinking, new tools, and new approaches to solving the most urgent healthcare issues of our time. As a management consultant and certified project manager with more than 15 years of experience, I believe this level of innovation requires big picture thinking with a granular view of interdependencies.
My approach to strategic planning is as human-centric as it is data-driven, connecting the foundations of evidenced based decision-making with people powered dialogue and collaboration. I reveal root causes and actionable insights by taking the time to listen; uncovering what is not being said, and tapping into the collective wisdom of our patients, clinicians, and stakeholders.
Over the years, I have been blessed to work with many teams across public, private, and non-profit sectors, conceptualizing new programs, initiatives, and processes that have immediate value to our healthcare system. When the global pandemic struck in 2020, the Provincial Health Services Authority enlisted my services to support with COVID-19 vaccine planning for special patient populations and establishing the province’s Post COVID-19 Interdisciplinary Clinical Care Network. Beyond this critical work, my career experience spans acute and primary care, outpatient specialty clinics, residential care, maternity, and child health.
Charting the course from conceptual ambiguity to operational clarity requires great urgency and focus, and I possess the curiosity, bold vision, and tenacity to navigate uncharted waters. My clinical background is a North Star on every project, enabling me to pinpoint how strategic initiatives impact the complex and interconnected network of our health system.
